Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Kami (“the Service”), operated by Wordbricks, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) at kami.typo.monster. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or at least 16 years old if you reside in the European Economic Area). By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts and Authentication

To access certain features, you must create an account by signing in through one of our supported OAuth providers: Google, Discord, or Notion. You may link multiple OAuth providers to a single account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at monster@wordbricks.ai if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

Certain features are available without an account, including the interactive demo and anonymous single-file conversions (limited to 3 per day per IP address, 1 MB maximum file size).

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

The Service offers multiple subscription tiers: Free, Pro, Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise. Each plan includes specific limits on daily and monthly document conversions, Google Docs exports, API tokens, and AI credits. Plan details and pricing are available on our pricing page.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that date.

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, contact us at monster@wordbricks.ai for a full refund. Beyond this period, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Usage Limits

Each plan includes daily and monthly limits for document conversions, Google Docs exports, API requests, and AI credits. Limits reset at midnight UTC each day or at the start of each monthly billing period, as applicable.

If you exceed your plan’s limits, additional requests will be blocked until the next reset period. You may upgrade your plan at any time to increase your limits.

6. AI Features and Credits

PRD AI and certain bot commands use AI capabilities powered by third-party models (currently Google Gemini). AI features consume credits from your plan’s allocation:

AI-generated content is provided for informational and productivity purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before use.

7. API Access and Tokens

Paid plans include the ability to generate API tokens for programmatic access to the Service. API tokens are scoped to your account and subject to your plan’s usage limits.

You are responsible for keeping your API tokens secure. Do not share tokens or embed them in client-side code. If a token is compromised, you should revoke it immediately through your account settings. We are not liable for any unauthorized use of your API tokens.

8. Musubi — Memory Layer for AI Agents

Musubi provides persistent memory storage and semantic search for AI agent workflows. Data stored through Musubi is associated with your account and subject to the same data handling practices described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that any data you store through Musubi complies with applicable laws and does not contain sensitive personal information of third parties without their consent.

9. Bot Integrations

The Service offers Discord and Slack bot integrations for document conversion and job notifications. By connecting your Discord or Slack account, you authorize us to send messages to your linked accounts regarding job status and conversion results.

Bot integrations are subject to the respective platform’s terms of service in addition to these Terms. You may disconnect bot integrations at any time through your account settings.

10. Your Content

You retain full ownership of any content you upload, convert, or create through the Service, including Notion exports, Markdown output, Google Docs exports, PRD documents, and Musubi memory data.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content for training AI models or for any purpose other than delivering the features you request.

Uploaded files are stored temporarily in cloud storage during processing and are organized by your user ID and job ID. Workspace files and version history are retained until you delete them or your account is closed.

11. Google Docs Export and BYOK

Google Docs export requires authorization to access your Google Drive. We use OAuth tokens to upload converted documents on your behalf. Business Plus and Enterprise plans support Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), allowing you to provide your own Google API credentials.

When using BYOK, you are responsible for managing your own Google API credentials and ensuring compliance with Google’s API terms of service.

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, brand features, or other proprietary content.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Conversion accuracy depends on the format and structure of your source documents.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations, indemnification, and intellectual property provisions) will continue in effect.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
